TwinOry AI and Identity Use Policy
1. AI disclosure and limits
1.1 Disclosure. Where you interact with an AI system (chat, voice, agent, digital twin or generated content), the Operator tells you so at the start of the interaction and labels AI-generated or AI-manipulated content in accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689. A voice or persona representing a real person is used only with that person's recorded permission.
1.2 Nature of outputs. AI outputs are generated from models and data that can be incomplete or wrong. They are information and assistance, not professional advice, and not a decision of the Operator. You remain responsible for decisions you take on the basis of an output. Where a decision has legal, financial, medical, educational or safety effect, the service routes it to a human reviewer or to you for decision, and the Operator does not make that decision automatically.
1.3 Human escalation. You may at any time request a human review of an AI interaction through support@twinory.net or the in-product escalation control; the Operator responds within 5 business days (consumer) or within the SLA (business).
1.4 Permitted use. You will not use AI features to impersonate a person without permission, to generate unlawful content, to circumvent safety controls, or to extract or reverse-engineer models. The Operator may suspend AI features for breach.
1.5 Recording and model use. Recordings, transcripts and uploads are used to provide the service to you. They are used to improve models only with your separate permission (purpose research_contribution), which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the service.
1.6 Every Twin states, at the top of each Ask Card answer, that it is an AI representation of its owner and that the answer is not the owner's statement.
1.7 A Twin never starts first. It does not send unsolicited messages, does not contact persons outside the audience selected by its owner, and does not answer on topics its owner has excluded.
2. Human decisions
2.1 A Twin does not conclude contracts, make payments, give legal, medical or financial advice, publish content or change account settings. Those actions are taken only by the owner, by a verified guardian under ACC-01 clause 3, or by Operator staff under INT-01.
2.2 Operator AI tools used in moderation, ranking or support produce recommendations; the decision to restrict an account or remove content is taken by a person (MKT-02).
2.3 The Operator does not use a member's Private Rules, another member's content or another tenant's data to answer a question put to a different Twin.
3. Persona, voice and likeness
3.1 You grant the Operator permission to create, store and operate a digital representation of you (text, voice, appearance) only to the extent you enable in settings. You may limit the audience, the topics and the actions of the representation, and the representation is labelled as AI in every interaction.
3.2 The representation does not act for you in legal, financial or medical matters and cannot enter contracts on your behalf unless a separate recorded delegation exists.
3.3 You may withdraw permission at any time; the representation is deactivated immediately and its training material is deleted within 30 days, subject to legal hold.
3.4 Professional representations state the professional's name, registration and a disclaimer that AI responses are not the professional's advice unless the professional has reviewed them.
3.5 Text Twins are enabled by publishing under TWN-01. Voice and visual likeness are enabled only by a separate explicit grant action before the first recording or upload (purposes recording_voice and likeness_persona), which states whose voice or image is used, the audience, the purpose, the retention period and the withdrawal route. No grant is inferred from a profile photo or from account registration.
3.6 You may create a representation only of yourself. A representation of another person, living or deceased, is not permitted on this service.
3.7 Biometric identification is not performed; voice samples are used to render your Twin's voice, not to identify you or anyone else.
3.8 For a member aged 16 or 17, a voice or likeness grant requires guardian consent (ACC-01 clause 3.5).
4. Training and research
4.1 Submitting content, Ask Cards or recordings grants no licence to train general models and no publicity licence.
4.2 Model improvement using your material takes place only after you enable the separate purpose research_contribution in Settings; the research notice states the purpose, the data used and the duration. You may withdraw at any time without affecting the service.
5. Safety
5.1 Report an unsafe, misleading or harmful output through the in-product control or support@twinory.net; a person reviews it under clause 1.3.
5.2 The service is not an emergency, monitoring or rescue service. In an emergency, contact the local emergency number.
5.3 The Operator may suspend a Twin that produces unlawful content or breaches ACC-01 clause 9, giving the owner reasons and a review route.
6. Changes and versions
Changes follow ACC-01 clause 13. Every version is archived at /legal/ai-policy/v/.
